Damn…it’s been two years and change since writing the last post and so much has changed. Ironic how after writing a post about how coffee had impacted my life, it went and did it again. Call it chance or right place at the right time but I went from office barista to professional barista pretty much overnight.
An opportunity arose at The Boxcar Coffee with new local investors that opened the door to me becoming the cafe manager. It’s been an incredible experience and one that allowed me to learn a lot and also implement a lot of my own ideas. We took the shop from coffee and food, and added a bike shop that specializes in custom and boutique style builds. It’s been awesome to be able to continue to invest in the cycling and coffee communities through the outlets provided by the shop.
Now that we’re mostly up to speed…well sorta…we’ll dive into all this a little deeper, talk cycling, and what’s new.
